A traditional art form indigenous to Rajasthan, hand-block printing is our desert state’s pride that’s cultivated with great care and transcends generations within artisan families. It’s a cultural phenomenon rooted in Rajasthan’s rich ethos that requires tremendous patience, creativity, and precision. The process of hand-block printing is fascinating—how we create beautiful, colorful prints from handmade wooden blocks using resources that we mindfully borrow from our local environs in a way that’s sustainable and eco-friendly.

A visit to our textile unit is an experience unlike any other. It’s a fantastic way to learn all about this burgeoning local industry that has taken the world by storm.

During the 2 Hour visit, you get to:

• Experience hand-block printing with natural dyes
• See the process of mud resist block printing and indigo dye
• Chance to see several plants and bushes that we use for printing and dyeing
• Check out our enviable collection of natural dyes on display
